This contract is written by Elias, son of Solomon and directed to the monks of the tops of Apa Phoibammon. He agrees to work with their camels, to share the income generated through that work, and not to cheat on the amount.
Lines 2–4 read as follow:
ⲛⲛⲉⲥⲛ[ⲏⲩ] ⲙⲡⲧⲟⲡⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲛⲁⲡⲁ [ⲫⲟⲓⲃⲁ]ⲙⲱⲛ
'… to the brothers of the holy topos of Apa Phoibammon'
