E04144: Coptic account from Edfu/Apollonopolis (Upper Egypt) concerning the delivery of measures of vegetables, mentioning institutions dedicated to *Kyriakos (presumably the child martyr of Tarsus, S00007) and Stephen (possibly the First Martyr, S00030) receiving a delivery/donation; datable to the second half of the 7th century.

The list of recipients of vegetable measures from a total of 42 artabas includes also a reader, a carpenter, and a camel driver. While they seem to receive their amounts as payment, the two institutions dedicated to the saints presumably acquire it as a donation.
Lines 1–3 read as follows:

‘Account of 42 artabas of vegetables
out of which:
To saint Stephanos (and) to saint Kyriakos: 2/3 of an artaba.’
