E02124: Greek list from the city of Oxyrhynchos (Middle Egypt), presenting churches, chapels, and martyria, most of them dedicated to saints, including *Serenos/Sirenos (probably a martyr of Oxyrhynchus, S00134), *Anoup (presumably the saint with cult at Bawit, S00774), *Menas (soldier and martyr of Abu Mena, S00073), and *John (presumably the Evangelist, S00042), datable to the early 6th century.

The papyrus P.Oxy. 67 4619 is located at Oxford, Sackler Library, Papyrology Rooms, 50 4B.30/B(6–7)e. The document is dated on palaeographical grounds.

Discussion

All the institutions mentioned were most likely situated in Oxyrhynchos itself. As the right hand side of the document is missing, the purpose of this list is not clear. It might have been a list of payments, or one of religious services.
